About
Welcome here, my name is Wayne and I like taking photos the old-fashioned way, with a mechanical camera on black and white film. The raw and physical process of capturing an image on a photochemical emulsion, developing it, and then seeing an image appear is magical. It also reminds us, that not too long ago, that was what photography was. And what photographers were able to express that way, is actually quite impressive.
These are all photos that were done with analog cameras on different kinds of black and white films. The large majority was taken with my Grandpa's 1956 Rolleiflex 2.8D in medium format, but on this site there are also a few pictures in 35mm, made with a Leica M3, R6, or the cool little Rollei 35. And just recently, I have gotten into the insanity of trying to master 4x5 large format photography, with a Linhof and a Sinar...
Enjoy!
